We are so thankful that you have signed up to race with us for our 3rd Annual 5k/10k through Woodruff, SC as we raise money to bless children, families, individuals, and organizations in our community this Christmas. We hope that you have a fantastic experience on race day. Below is a little information for you to know on Race Day:

• Packet pick-up and race day registration will be from 7am-7:30am. It will be on the baseball field at McKinney Park, across the street from where you are parking. Please make sure to pick up your race bib, t shirt, and included giveaways. There will be signs to direct you.

• You must have your bib attached to your clothing at all times during the race to get an official time.

• The race will begin on the street right beside the McKinney Park baseball field and will end in the Amphitheater across the baseball field. (Please see the attached course map for course layout). Roads WILL NOT be closed for this event. We will, however, have volunteers placed at all road crossings directing traffic, to protect runners while on the course. There will be signs all along the course to direct you through the race as well as mobile volunteers helping you navigate.

• The 5k will be one loop of the course and the 10k will be 2 loops of the course.

• There will be a 2 hour time limit for both race distances.

• There will be 2 aid stations on the course. One at the halfway point of the route at Woodruff; Family Dentistry and one at the finish line. **For the runners doing the 10k, there will also be one at the original start line when you begin your second lap. The aid station on the course will only have water available. The finish line aid station will have water, soft drinks, sports drinks, fruit, granola bars, etc. Any other aid you personally need, please bring with you.

• We hope this race provides opportunities for all ages, genders, and fitness levels. Feel free to try to PR your 5k or 10k time, run at a comfortable pace, or walk the entire event. Whatever you do, make sure to HAVE FUN!!

• We will have awards for Top 3 Male and Female times in ages 18 yrs. & under, 19-34 yrs, 35-44 yrs, 45-55 yrs, and 55+ yrs. Please hang around to receive your award.

• Each participant will receive a finishers medallion upon crossing the finish line.

• The City of Woodruff is partnering with us to provide a free event after our race including inflatables, carnival rides, games, DJ, and live music later in the day. Plan to make a day of this event and explore the wonderful city of Woodruff, SC.
